Working Mommy?
written on Friday, 21 November 2014 @ 00:43 ✈

I wake up every morning at about 6:15am to drop my husband to work. I come home around 7:30am and mommy duties start. If my son is awake: we play, I feed him, and then he takes a nap. He'll be awake around 10am and then I bathe him. He will lay on our bed while drinking his milk and he'll either fall asleep or stay awake. If he stays awake and I see that he isn't ready for his second nap, we will play. In between that I am doing laundry, washing bottles, and cleaning our room. After 20-30 minutes, I will put him on his swing which is outside in the living room. Once he is asleep, I'll take a shower and get ready for work while my mother in law watches him. I'll usually leave the house at around 1pm and be at work at 1:30pm. I get off at 8:30pm every night.

Working and being a mom is hard work. You think being an at home mom is easy? Try being at work for 8 hours and then coming home to be a parent. When I get home from work, my son is usually already asleep. My husband watches him at night, thankfully. He gets our son ready for bed, fed, and put to sleep. Most days he would still be awake when I get home. That's when I have to change and get ready for bed and then have my son ready for bed, fed, and put to sleep. I'll eat dinner and then knock out, because through out the night I have to get up at 2am to feed our son and then again at 4am for another feeding. I am exhausted daily. With work being so busy and hectic because of the holidays and then coming home to a 6 month old cry baby. Yes, cry baby. Props to those working mommies that have more than 1 child. My husband wants another and hoping for a baby girl, but I told him "Will do after 15 years!" Haha!
